'Clarity'

Diamonds can contain inclusions, i.e. 'dark or light specs'.

Depending on their size, number and characteristics the grade can vary from internally flawless (IF) to pique (I).

The higher the clarity the higher the price, however it is not always necessary to have an extremely high clarity, remember the only clarity grade you can see the inclusions in with the naked eye is the 'I' or the 'Pique' grade!
